List Building - Building the Ultimate List Building System

In this article we will talk a little about building a great list building system. Most newbies in internet marketing set up a squeeze page and then try to drive traffic to it. While this is correct it is just the beginning of building the ultimate list building system.

Most squeeze page systems consist of the squeeze page itself and then the download page where your customer will download the free ebook and newsletter that they just signed up for. But we are going to take that to the next level.

So to bring things to the next level what you are going to do is add a tell a friend script to your sign up process. So when someone signs up for your newsletter they will be taken to a new page instead of the download page that asks them to tell their friends about your free ebook or website. This works best if you offer your customers an additional free gift if they tell their friends.

This is a form of viral marketing and can bring you in a lot of additional subscribers which is exactly what you want. Just imagine if one person tells 3 friends and those friends tell 3 friends and so on and so on. You can see the potential to sign up endless amounts of people if you are lucky.

This is a great list building system and you should try to implement it in your list building process. But now we are going to once again take things to the next level. So at this point you are sending your subscribers from a squeeze page to a tell a friend script then to your download page where they can download the free ebook you are offering.

Now where going to add one more element to your list building process. We are going to add a one time offer. Which is a special offer for a great product or products to your new subscribers. It can be say an ebook or a package of ebooks and software programs or whatever you feel will make a great one time offer. In this example we'll say that we are offering a package of resell rights products for a low price.

Here is how it all works. You customers signs up for your free ebook and newsletter and then gets taken to a tell a friend script where they can tell their friends about you or they can choose to skip this option. Either way they then are taken to your one time offer where you will offer them the resell rights products for one low price.

If they order the one time offer then they will be redirected to your order page and place their order. Then you have to email them to let them know where the download page so they can download the free ebook you offered at the beginning. If they are not interested in the one time offer you would have a link at the bottom of that page that would say something like "no thanks, send me to the download page".

By implementing the tell a friend script you have a chance of getting your subscribers to help you grow your own list. By implementing the one time offer you have a chance of making some money while building your list. So I hope you can see the benefits of using these two options in your list building process.
